Terms and Conditions of Sale and Website Use

Last updated: 18 August 2026

1. About JoyBuggy

The website www.joybuggy.com (“Website”) is operated by:

JoyBuggy ApS Gunderupvej 16 9260 Gistrup Denmark

CVR: 42023906 VAT number: DK42023906 Email: [email protected]

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to purchases from JoyBuggy and to the use of the Website.

JoyBuggy sells digital products, including video-game activation keys, software activation keys, gift-card codes, downloadable content and other digital entitlements (“Digital Products”).

Unless otherwise stated, JoyBuggy is the retailer and contractual seller of the Digital Product. The software or underlying content may be licensed and operated by a third-party publisher or platform provider.

These Terms primarily govern purchases by consumers. If you purchase for business or resale purposes, mandatory consumer protections may not apply and JoyBuggy may require a separate written agreement.

2. Product information

Before placing an order, you must review the information shown on the relevant product page, including, where applicable:

• the title and edition of the product;

• supported platform and activation method;

• permitted country or region;

• available languages;

• system requirements and compatibility;

• required third-party accounts, software or internet connection;

• DRM or other technical protection measures;

• release date or expected release date;

• any required subscription, base game or additional purchase; and

• any material territorial or usage restrictions.

You are responsible for checking that the Digital Product is suitable for your device, platform, account and country before ordering.

A product is not defective merely because it is incompatible with a device, platform or region that was clearly identified as unsupported before purchase. This does not affect your rights where the product information was incorrect, incomplete or misleading.

Product images, videos and trailers are illustrative unless expressly stated otherwise. Final content may differ where changes are made by the publisher, provided that the Digital Product remains in conformity with the contract and applicable law.

3. Eligibility and customer accounts

You must be at least 18 years old or otherwise legally capable of entering into the purchase. If you are under 18, you may purchase only with the valid consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Where an account is required, you must provide accurate and current information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless it resulted from circumstances for which you are not responsible.

Please contact JoyBuggy immediately if you believe that your account or a purchased code has been accessed without authorization.

4. Orders and conclusion of the contract

The contents of your cart and the total price, including applicable taxes and disclosed charges, will be shown before you place the order.

The checkout button will clearly indicate that placing the order creates an obligation to pay.

After placing an order, you will receive an electronic confirmation containing the relevant purchase information. The contract is concluded when your order is submitted and accepted through the checkout process in accordance with applicable law.

JoyBuggy may refuse or cancel an order only for an objective reason, including:

• failure or refusal of payment authorization;

• a legal, sanctions-related or territorial restriction;

• a reasonable indication of fraud, unauthorized payment or abuse;

• genuine inability to obtain or supply the Digital Product;

• an obvious pricing or product-information error that you knew or reasonably should have recognized; or

• a breach of an order limit or promotion condition disclosed before purchase.

If payment has already been collected for an order that is cancelled, JoyBuggy will refund it without undue delay using the original payment method, unless another method is expressly agreed.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in the currency selected on the Website and include applicable VAT or similar consumer taxes where required. The final price payable will be displayed before the order is placed.

Your bank, card issuer or payment provider may apply its own currency-conversion or other charges. Such charges are outside JoyBuggy’s control and are not paid to JoyBuggy.

Available payment methods are shown at checkout. Payment processing may be performed by an independent payment provider under its own privacy and security terms.

JoyBuggy will normally debit payment when the Digital Product is supplied or made available. A payment method may be authorized earlier. For preorders, payment will not be debited before supply unless lawful prepayment has been clearly and validly agreed.

6. Delivery

Unless a later date is stated, Digital Products are supplied without undue delay after the order and payment checks have been completed.

Delivery may take place by:

• displaying the activation key in your JoyBuggy account;

• sending it to the email address provided during checkout;

• providing a download or activation link; or

• automatically adding the entitlement to a connected third-party account.

You must ensure that your email address is correct and check your spam or junk folder where necessary.

Automated security checks may occasionally delay delivery. If a product is not delivered within the stated time, contact [email protected] with your order number.

A Digital Product is treated as supplied when the activation key, link or entitlement is made available to you or to the account selected by you.

7. Preorders

A preorder is an order for a Digital Product expected to be supplied on or around a future release date.

Release dates and times are determined by publishers and platform providers and may change. Unless expressly guaranteed by JoyBuggy, a displayed release date is an expected date rather than a guarantee of delivery at a particular hour.

JoyBuggy will notify you of a material delay or cancellation of the product when reasonably possible.

As a voluntary JoyBuggy policy, you may cancel a preorder and receive a full refund at any time before the activation key or other digital entitlement has been supplied or made available to you.

If JoyBuggy cannot supply the preorder, the order will be cancelled and any collected payment will be refunded without undue delay.

Preorder bonuses are subject to the publisher’s conditions and availability. Their unavailability will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the product information presented when you ordered.

8. Activation and use of Digital Products

Activation instructions are provided on the product page, with the order or through the relevant platform.

Digital Products are intended for the customer’s personal, non-commercial use unless expressly stated otherwise. You may not purchase products through the Website for unauthorized resale, distribution or commercial exploitation.

Activation keys must be kept confidential. Once a key has been redeemed, its use is governed by the terms of the relevant publisher or platform, such as Steam, Epic Games, Ubisoft Connect, EA app, Xbox, PlayStation or Nintendo.

Buying a Digital Product gives you the relevant right or licence to use it. It does not transfer ownership of the publisher’s intellectual property.

You must not use a VPN, false account information or another method to circumvent a clearly disclosed territorial restriction.

Third-party terms do not limit the statutory rights that you have against JoyBuggy as the seller.

9. Right of withdrawal

Consumers normally have 14 days from conclusion of an online contract to withdraw without giving a reason.

Digital Products are generally intended for immediate supply. Before immediate supply begins, JoyBuggy will ask you to:

• expressly request that supply begin during the 14-day withdrawal period; and

• acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once supply of the Digital Product begins.

Where you have provided that request and acknowledgement, and JoyBuggy has sent the required confirmation, your statutory right of withdrawal ends when the activation key, download, link or entitlement is supplied or made available.

Where a withdrawal right remains available, you may exercise it by emailing [email protected].

JoyBuggy will confirm receipt of an online withdrawal request on a durable medium without undue delay.

The loss of the withdrawal right does not affect your rights if the Digital Product is defective, invalid, misdescribed or not supplied.

10. Defective, invalid or missing Digital Products

Consumers have statutory conformity and complaint rights for Digital Products. Under Danish law, these generally include a two-year complaint period for digital content supplied on a one-off basis.

A Digital Product may be defective where, for example:

• the activation key was invalid when supplied;

• the key had already been redeemed before it was supplied to you;

• the product materially differs from the description;

• the product cannot be activated in a region or on a platform stated as supported;

• required content is missing; or

• the Digital Product otherwise fails to meet mandatory conformity requirements.

Please contact [email protected] and provide the order number, the relevant error message and any other evidence reasonably required to investigate the problem.

JoyBuggy may first attempt to bring the Digital Product into conformity, including by supplying a valid replacement key. This will be done free of charge, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience.

Where the problem cannot be corrected, is sufficiently serious, recurs, or is not corrected within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a proportionate price reduction or to terminate the purchase and receive a refund, in accordance with applicable law.

If a Digital Product is not supplied, you may request delivery within an appropriate additional period. You may terminate the contract where JoyBuggy still fails to supply it, or immediately where the circumstances give you that right under applicable law.

11. Mistaken purchases and discretionary refunds

If you purchase the wrong edition, platform, language or region despite the correct restriction being clearly displayed, the product is not defective for that reason.

Once the activation key has been supplied and the statutory withdrawal right has validly ended, JoyBuggy is not required to refund a mistaken purchase. However, you should contact Customer Support promptly. JoyBuggy may at its sole discretion offer a replacement or refund as a goodwill measure where the key remains unused and the supplier permits it.

Any goodwill refund does not restrict your statutory rights.

Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method. Processing time after JoyBuggy issues the refund may depend on the relevant bank or payment provider.

12. Promotions, vouchers and order limits

Promotions and discount codes may be subject to additional conditions disclosed with the relevant offer.

Unless otherwise stated:

• promotions cannot be combined;

• a discount code has no cash value;

• codes may not be sold or transferred commercially;

• order or customer limits may apply; and

• a promotion may be withdrawn prospectively, but this will not affect an order already validly concluded.

Any advertised price reduction will be presented in accordance with applicable pricing laws.

13. Fraud prevention and account restrictions

JoyBuggy may use proportionate automated and manual checks to prevent fraud, unauthorized payments, sanctions breaches, bulk purchasing and unauthorized resale.

JoyBuggy may temporarily delay delivery or restrict an account where reasonably necessary for security or legal compliance. Where appropriate and legally permitted, JoyBuggy will explain the reason and provide a way to contact Customer Support.

Account restrictions do not remove your rights concerning products already lawfully purchased. If JoyBuggy cannot lawfully complete an order, any collected payment will be refunded unless the funds must be handled differently under applicable law.

You should contact JoyBuggy before initiating a payment dispute so that we have an opportunity to resolve the issue. This does not restrict your legal right to contact your bank or payment provider.

14. Website use and intellectual property

The Website, JoyBuggy branding, text, graphics and other original Website content are owned by or licensed to JoyBuggy and are protected by intellectual-property law.

You may use the Website for personal shopping and account-management purposes. You may not:

• interfere with the Website’s operation or security;

• attempt to access another customer’s account or order;

• scrape or extract data at scale without permission;

• use bots to circumvent purchasing limits;

• test for vulnerabilities without prior authorization; or

• reproduce JoyBuggy content for commercial use without permission.

Nothing in this section prevents legitimate security research reported responsibly to JoyBuggy or the exercise of rights granted by mandatory law.

15. Third-party platforms and services

Activation, downloading and continued use may depend on services operated by publishers or platform providers.

JoyBuggy does not control general maintenance, outages or account decisions made independently by those providers. However, this does not exclude JoyBuggy’s responsibility where the Digital Product supplied by JoyBuggy fails to conform to the contract.

You are responsible for complying with lawful and properly disclosed third-party platform terms. If a publisher or platform materially changes or discontinues a product, your rights will be assessed under the contract and applicable consumer law.

16. Website availability and liability

JoyBuggy aims to keep the Website and account services secure and available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights.

For consumers, JoyBuggy is responsible for losses that are a foreseeable consequence of JoyBuggy’s breach of contract or failure to exercise reasonable care. JoyBuggy is not responsible for losses caused solely by:

• unsupported equipment or software;

• incorrect information provided by you;

• your failure to follow clearly provided activation instructions;

• unauthorized access resulting from your failure to protect your credentials; or

• circumstances outside JoyBuggy’s reasonable control.

This section does not remove any right to a refund, price reduction, replacement or other remedy provided by mandatory law.

17. Privacy and cookies

JoyBuggy processes personal data as described in its Privacy Policy available under joybuggy.com/privacy-policy.

Information about cookies and similar technologies is available in the Cookie Policy available under joybuggy.com/cookies.

18. Changes to these Terms

The version of the Terms in force when you place an order applies to that purchase.

JoyBuggy may update these Terms prospectively to reflect changes in the Website, business operations or applicable law. Updated Terms will not retroactively reduce your rights under an existing purchase.

The current version and its effective date will remain available on the Website.

19. Governing law

These Terms and purchases from JoyBuggy are governed by Danish law.

If you are a consumer resident in another country, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections provided by the law of your habitual residence.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from bringing a claim before a court that has jurisdiction under applicable consumer-protection rules.

The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

20. Complaints and dispute resolution

Please submit complaints first to:

JoyBuggy Customer Support Email: [email protected] Please include your order number and a clear description of the issue.

If we cannot resolve a consumer complaint, an eligible complaint may be submitted to:

Mæglingsteamet for Forbrugerklager Nævnenes Hus Toldboden 2 8800 Viborg Denmark

Further information and the complaint portal are available at www.naevneneshus.dk. Eligibility requirements, fees and minimum claim values may apply.

Consumers residing in another EU or EEA country may also contact the European Consumer Centre in their country for assistance.

The former European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform has been discontinued and is therefore not available.

21. Severability and contact

If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. Any invalid provision will be interpreted or replaced only to the minimum extent necessary and permitted by law.

Questions about these Terms may be sent to [email protected].
