Hunting Simulator 3 Out Now

Hunting Simulator 3 Is Out Today

Hunting Simulator 3 takes you to deepest Colorado and the untamed outback of Texas — two open-world hunting grounds, each with its own character and its own roster of game. NACON describes the maps as spanning "tens of square kilometres," and you'll cover that ground either on foot or behind the wheel of an all-terrain vehicle.

The signature feature of the game is SimFauna, NACON's ecosystem simulation system. Rather than spawning animals on a timer, it runs a living population. According to NACON's own description, in these dynamic ecosystems every animal reacts to your actions, each specimen ages over time, can reproduce, and behaves realistically. The practical effect is that the same patch of ground won't play out the same way twice. Animals move, mature, and respond to pressure, which makes tracking and patience genuine skills rather than filler between shots.

The armoury is built on officially licensed equipment. Choose from a professional hunting arsenal comprising rifles, shotguns, bows and crossbows, drawn from brands including Remington, Beretta, Winchester, Browning and many more.

The wider kit spans beyond firearms, with brands like Verney-Carron (apparel), Primos (game calls), Bushnell (optics), Polaris (UTVs) and Rex Specs (dog eyewear).

And yes — your hunting dog is back, and it remains central to the experience.
